Ok this semester is kicking my BUTT! I am EXHAUSTED most of the time and right now my laundry is piling up because I am spending every waking moment trying to study and get my work in on time! DH left on cruise last Saturday... I am SO glad this is his last... come the end of this year I will no longer be a military wife! (Will say that I WILL miss the NEX, so I'll have to make sure that I get lots of shopping in before the end of the year! ) Work is going well... things are finally settling down and everyone seems much happier now that all of the drama queens/trouble makers have flown the coop. I knew I made the right choice in going there! Incidentally, I just got a raise too! How are the rest of you doing? I am hoping that I will have time this weekend to get at least 3 - 4 more readings done... I'm catching up! ;D Let's get an update on everyone!

Tired! With dh's scheudal I tend to go to sleep late, then have to get up with Anthony. Lately, dh lets me sleep in on Sat so i can recharge my batteries, but he had to go into work for a uniform inspection (some idiot got a DUI so they punished the whole group). It was first thing in the morning, just before anthony woke up. Oh well, tomarrow am hopefully he can watch him a bit! Other then that doing good.. got on a *Gasp* cleaning kick the other day Started a few scrapbooking pages too. Sorry things are so hecktic for you! Sooner or later it'll have to calm down though..

I must have missed that post. Not going to be a military wife ... shocker. Things here are typical. I applied for on of the FRG Assistant positions here, & I think am more than qualified for. I am hoping that I really do get this position. My kids are outstanding & a pain, but kids are that way. I am out of school until after I finish all the therapy I have required to have. DH is preparing once again to ready to deploy ... not in the next few months but soon enough. All in all we are doing pretty well. Summer is here, we have so much for the kids to enjoy. Swimming area, skate park, trampoline ... and so much more. With DH going on block leave that give us a lot of time to enjoy each other & various things.
Life is great when you count what you have.

Stressed out. Christina, a warning from someone who is playing the waiting game for getting out: Be prepared for a lot of headaches. When we FINALLY get out of here and settled I'll send you some bulk advil from my MIL's work (she works at Wyeth, so lots of free over the counter stuff). You'll need it.
We still don't have a date. Sean and I have been fighting a lot (and we rarely ever fight), and both of us are just stressed out and tired. The frustration is so bad that it's causing problems, which is normal, but still. I want to seriously hurt all the people who have made a simple medical discharge a huge pain in the arse. Perhaps this book i'm planning will help other wives on the getting out process......want in on it, Christina?

I would love to be in on your book! I am SO there! I am sorry that you're having such a rough time... men don't seem to handle change all that well, do they? I'm not that worried... what comes will come. You will make it through!

Hey sis, Hi girls.. Sorry for all that I have been missing.. I know sis that you are going through a lot, sorry I haven't been there, but with the mom and dad stuff, and Pete calling me and all I get is NEG, I try to still be a POS person, but it's hard when the people I love are going through soooo much..and I know I'm like you, sis, keep my NEG to myself,so I feel drained... but I've been in your shoes, remember my first year of marriage I MIGHT have seen my husband maybe 3 months total, 2 weeks here, 10 days here, 20 days here...West Pac...TWICE... once he's out,of the Navy, there's some adjusting, but the best advice I can give.. Re-read your letters when you all were apart,(or emails) it reminds you why you waited, why you got together in the first place, why you signed up to stand by a man who believes in himself and what he stands for.... July 18th, we celebrated 13yrs together, the first two, I hated, but these last years have been wonderful, with it's ups and downs... Your ALL gonna be fine.... LOVE always makes things better...

Sorry for the lack of updates ladies but I have been SUPER busy and just WAITING to be finished with my school work; taking a full load (3 classes) this semester, working full time and then DH being deployed... well, it's been a bit rough to say the least I will try to come back more often... in the mean time here is a cool link I just found... what a fantastic artist! www.vacher.com/TTYL! *looks at bottom of screen and wonders when we got a "spell check" button... wonder what kinds of "spells" it checks! ... I'm such a geek! ~ C
